Legacy Community Service was founded by Boitumelo Basupang, Kgahliso Basupang, and Bokang Mokato. Our journey began with ad-hoc community projects in Braamfischer Ville and Snake Park Informal Settlement, focusing on helping women and children.
Over the years, we have organized numerous projects around Mandela Day, Human Rights Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas.
Our core values include consistency, integrity, excellence, diversity, collaboration, and accountability.

Legacy Community Service's programs are designed to lead people from poverty and despair to becoming self-sufficient contributing members of their community. Our ongoing projects include community empowerment, adoption of orphanages, winter blanket drives, food hampers and soup kitchens, school stationery drives, sanitary pad drives, clothing drives, mobile health clinics, and women's empowerment initiatives. We also have future projects focused on community care, job creation, and skills training.

How you can get involved?
Our most pressing need is to fund Food Vouchers for families that are going hungry right now. Each voucher is valued at R500, and our goal is to deliver more to families that are struggling to put food on the table in the next few months.
